Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is a great honour and a particular pleasure for me to warmly invite you to attend the RheoCon2 Conference and SCC9 Symposium in September 2019 in Dresden, Germany.
The SCC9 Symposium is the follow-up to eight successful international events, all focusing on self-compacting concrete, but also dealing with concrete rheology in general. It will be held in conjunction with the 2nd International Conference on Rheology and Processing of Construction Materials following the RheoCon1 organized 2013 in Paris.
The aim of these two parallel and closely interconnected events is to exchange ideas and experience about the development, testing, and applications of cement-based and other building materials with their specific rheological properties.
Within this event also projects from the Priority Program 2005 OPUS FLUIDUM FURUTUM – Rheology of reactive, multiscale, multiphase construction materials, sponsored by the German Research Foundation (DFG), will be presented.
The symposium on Self-Compacting Concrete is organized in Honour of Prof. Kamal H. Khayat and his impressive scientific research achievements and exceptional engagement in the field.
I hope you will join us for outstanding scientific discussions, but also to discover and enjoy the beauty of this historical region of Saxony.
Looking forward to seeing you all in Dresden in 2019!
With best wishes,
Conference Chair of RheoCon2 and SCC9
